For weeks fans have been lining up for the premiere of The Hunger Games, based on the wildly popular YA novels by Suzanne Collins. In prepartation for the premiere Elizabeth Banks – who plays the self-absorbed, foppish escort of the District 12 tributes, visited The Ellen DeGeneres Show.

Banks shared with DeGeneres that the decorated nails she wore for the role posed quite a few problems for her on set including not being able to use her Blackberry or the bathroom without help.

DeGeneres, being the enterprising lesbian that she is (with a team of writers), devised a solution for Banks that included nails with DeGeneres’ face on them.
