Kara Laricks, the out and proud designer who won NBC’s Fashion Star, appeared on The Today Show this week to talk about some of her favorite designs and her inspiration with Natalie Morales, who happened to be wearing one of Kara’s winning dresses from Saks.

Kara has been quite busy since the finale aired. Throughout the season, she made a point to go see her purchased designs in stores each week, but the past few days have been different, as she told Natalie “I haven’t even had a chance yet to go into each store to go see them today. Today feels like cloud nine.”
