Melissa Etheridge and Tammy Lynn Michaels Settle Domestic Partnership Dispute

Melissa Etheridge and Tammy Lynn Michaels have arrived at a settlement following court-ordered mediation that marks the end of a years-long end battle over money since the couple split in 2010.

Melissa Etheridge and Tammy Lynn Michaels have arrived at a settlement following court-ordered mediation that marks the end of a years-long end battle over money since the couple split in 2010, according to TMZ.

In April of this year news broke that Michaels filed court papers asking for more than the $23,000 per month Etheridge had been paying her to live on and to raise their twins.

The new settlement covers partner and child support and will ring in at an undisclosed amount that is higher than $23,000 per month, TMZ reports.

The couple will split custody of the twins.

The duo first got together back in 2003, after Etheridge’s relationship with Julie Cypher fizzled.  Their relationship lasted seven years until they announced their separation in April 2010.

Michaels, retired from acting back in 2005 in order to raise the couple’s children, is widely recognized for her role in The L Word and as a series regular in Ryan Murphy’s Popular.

Etheridge is currently on the Fearless Love world tour and is involved with Nurse Jackie co-creator Linda Wallem.
