Gleeks and geeks in general, Glee is heading to Comic-Con 2012, putting to rest rumors that for the first time in years the show would not be represented at Bacchanal of sorts that takes place in San Diego in July. But, according to E!, Glee stars Naya Rivera (who plays the beloved gay Cheerio Santana), Lea Michele, Cory Monteith, Kevin McHale and Darren Criss (who also plays gay) will be appearing at the event.
The show’s cocreator Brad Falchuck will also be on hand to represent the show on Saturday July 14.
"The fans at Comic-Con were among the first to really get behind our show, and we've had such a great time returning there every summer," Falchuk told E!. "This was the first year our cast has not gone out on tour, so Ryan (Murphy) and I thought we'd let them have some well-deserved time off. But everyone wanted to be there, and we couldn't be happier to report that Glee is returning to the convention where we feel it all started."
