From the network that brings you Pretty Little Liars and the woman who makes danceable fluff songs with Pitbull, comes Meet the Fosters (working title), a possible new drama about a lesbian-run family.
The Hollywood Reporter tells us a pilot for the show, produced by Jennifer Lopez’s Nuyorican Productions, was greenlit by the youth-skewing ABC Family, which is not scared to tell LGBT tales (see Pretty Little Liars). Meet the Fosters centers around two women, Stef and Lena, raising a household of multi-ethnic kids comprised of biological and foster children.
“We are thrilled to be producing such an exceptional and timely project with ABC Family,” Nuyorican producer Simon Fields told the press. “The show will entertain and provoke meaningful discussion about the contemporary definition of ‘family.'"
We can only hope J. Lo brings her toned, golden glow to the Fosters. She needs to make up for her disgraceful “hasbian” role in the god-awful Gigli.
