Awards contender for Les Misérables Anne Hathaway appears on the Ellen DeGeneres Show and chats about her recent appearance on Saturday Night Live, on which she played Katie Holmes opposite SNL’s first out lesbian cast member Kate McKinnon doing a hilarious impression of Ellen. Plus, Anne reveals just who on SNL she’s crushing on this year.
Anne and Ellen take a few moments to praise Kate’s impression of Ellen before Anne says that she thinks the women of SNL are particularly strong this year. “Everyone’s great, but the women are really shining this year,” Anne says. “I kind of have a crush on all of them, and I just want to stop by the offices and hang out and braid their hair.”
“Well, they would probably let you do that,” Ellen replies totally deadpan.
