Pretty Little Liars' season four premiere is about six weeks away and the first promos are starting to land. This latest promo of the Liars all spectacularly showing off red trenchies really does nothing to help solve the mystery of “Who is Red Coat?”

While we were pretty sure it was the Liars bitchy dead friend Alison in the red coat, this promo just complicates everything. What’s perfect about the promo is that, par for the PLL course, the creators pay homage to Hitchcock with his themes of doubling and doppelgangers.

It looks as though we’ll just have to wait to tune into the further adventures of Rosewood’s lesbian Don Juan Emily (Shay Mitchell), Spencer (Troian Bellisario), Aria (Lucy Hale) and Hanna (Ashley Benson).

For now, here they are looking as glamourous a ever in not-so-sleepy Rosewood.
