In case anyone is curious or concerned... Despite Lindsay Lohan’s on-again/off-again turbulent romance with Samantha Ronson several years ago she told Piers Morgan, in no uncertain terms, that she is straight, AfterEllen reported.
Lindsay, the former child star turned tabloid fodder and celebrity DJ Samantha dated back in 2008 and beyond, making headlines and becoming an “it” couple of sorts. Since their split Lindsay has not been linked to any other women, but her interview with Piers is the first time she’s definitively said what her sexuality is or isn’t.
In an interview that ran in the Daily Mail, Piers asked Lindsay flat-out if she knows what her sexuality is.
“Yes, I like boys,” she replied.
Piers pressed her and asked if she identified as bisexual, to which she responded, “Not really. I like being in a relationship with a guy.” Lindsay went on to say that being with a woman was different calling her relationship “toxic.” “I didn’t want to leave because I didn’t want to be alone,” she said.
Lindsay went on to say that she continues to love Samantha as a person, and that there was probably a point when she was in love with her.
Not willing to leave it at that Piers finally suggested that Lindsay is “probably straight.”
“No, I know I’m straight. I have made out with girls before, and I had a relationship with a girl,” Lindsay said. “But I think I needed to experience that and I think I was looking for something different.”
Lindsay’s admission likely comes as no big surprise, but it would have been nice if she hadn’t linked her affair with Samantha to toxicity and experimentation, even if it is the truth. It just feels so early 90s of her.
