Alicia Keys Gay Rumors Finally Put to Rest: News Breaks That the Singer is Engaged and Expecting

Not like any of us had a chance with her regardless, but news broke today that singer/songwriter Alicia Keys and her beau Swizz Beats are engaged and expecting their first child! Like, they actually had to have sex and everything, which totally means that she's into dudes not women. Looks like those persistent lesbian rumors about the "Empire State of Mind" chanteuse are over. Sorry, ladies! Alicia Keys is not only a straight lady, she's also going to be rockin' a ring...and a baby carriage.

Alicia Keys and Swizz Beatz (real name is Kasseem Dean) are expected to marry in a private ceremony later this year. The two have reportedly been an item since Beatz's separation from wife Mashonda Tifrere in 2008. Speculation suggests that Keys was the main component behind the four year union-gone-sour. The marriage between the multi-Grammy-winning artist and her music producer fiance will be the first for Keys and the second for Beatz. Alicia will become step-mom to Kasseem Jr., 3, and Prince Nasir, 9.

So, yeah, definitely not gay.
