WATCH: Model Rain Dove is Genderqueer 'Gender Capitalist' and Fashion Brand

Rain Dove is not new to any of us. Rain's amazing fashion 'brand' of gender-bending modeling takes them (Rain) from regular runways where they tower over many with their 6'1" frame, through to the menswear runways of the same fashion shows. And they're an out lesbian/queer who has graced the cover of lesbian and gay press, as well as being the featured story. 

They also do a lot of work for the local gay and lesbian communities - wherever they may travel, from helping to clean homes in San Diego for local queer youth, to joining a New York Pride float in sequins for Door (a local NYC non-profit also supporting queer youth).

Not only do they successfully negotiate both sides of the gender binary in the fashion world, but as this video shows they have a fascinating take on the process of engaging with it - talking about things as diverse as self-creation as a 'brand' icon, differing pay scales for male and female models walking the same runways, and their unusual workout routines, as well as getting real about the living circumstances of models.
