Please tell us there's a sequel!

A year ago we posted a trailer for this gem of a short film starring Pretty Little Liars’ Troian Bellisario and Shay Mitchell, and now the full-length version of Immediately Afterlife is available, which is terrific since we were completely gutted that we missed the world premiere of writer/director Hazart's film at LA Shorts Fest last September.

Cut to Troian and Shay as the last survivors of a cult who wake up amidst dead bodies and then argue about dogma, devotion, and doubt while running around in bed sheets and whipping their chestnut tresses around.

Here’s the actual synopsis:

Bennett (Troian Bellisario) and Marissa (Shay Mitchell) are the sole survivors of the final suicidal act of their religious cult. Confused, relieved, angry and unfulfilled, the two followers each question one another's motives for joining, living, and surviving under the control of their Leader. Faced with their own doubts, Bennett and Marissa must confront their feelings and fears while deciding what life to live after near-death.

At one point Marissa refers to the cult’s “drug-fueled orgies” of days past, so if there’s a sequel, can we get some flashbacks to that?
