Charlie Carver Reminds Us of That Time He Flashdanced for Charity
Remember the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge? Charlie Carver gives us a campaign update and delivers some Jennifer Beals reallness.
The ALS Ice Bucket Challenge had everyone and their mom dumping ice cold water on their heads, raising awareness (and, ideally, funds) for ALS research. It particularly picked up steam among the Hollywood crowd, with celebrities challenging their other celebrity friends to increasingly ridiculous/outrageous/scandalous/elaborate/sexy versions of the viral videos.
Well, actor Charlie Carver did one of his own, and he's back to give us an update! According to a recent Instagram post:
The ALS Foundation just announced that the money raised during the #icebucketchallenge helped them raise enough money to discover 3 genes that will help them in the effort to cure ALS!
To celebrate, Charlie reshared his Ice Bucket Challenge video, which features him reenacting Jennifer Beals' iconic Flashdance performance in all its glory.
