People Want the Nightwing Movie to Be Faithful to the Superhero's Assets

We sure hope the filmmakers don't mess this one up.

When news broke out yesterday about the possibility of DC Comics' Nightwing character getting his own live-action movie adaption, people all over the Twittersphere were rightfully excited. After all, the story of Dick Grayson shedding his Robin, sidekick status to becoming his own bona fide superhero is sure an exciting one to tell.

But in the midst of everyone's elation, some people on Twitter made it a point to remind everyone of two things:

1.) The filmmakers should definitely make it a point to further increase diversity and honor the character's Romani roots by casting a Romani actor...

...and 2.) While the filmmakers are it, they should also try to stay true to all of the other...ahem, assets...that Dick Grayson provides to the world as Nightwing.

We obviously agree with both sentiments. 100%.
