The Oprah Winfrey Network will devote Sunday, November 27, to an eye-opening look at two different brave transgender individuals, Chaz Bono and 11-year-old Jazz, sharing their story with the world through documentary.

After his recent run on Dancing With The Stars, Chaz Bono, the only child of Cher and Sonny Bono, caps of his trailblazing year in transgender visibility and positive representation with the follow-up to his award nominated Becoming Chaz. The next chapter, Being Chaz, Bono again opens up his life to the cameras for intimate moments, like when he proposed to his girlfriend, Jennifer Elia, in Seattle, WA.

The hour-long special debuts on OWN at 8 PM and also includes hard times, like when Bono faced public backlash as the first transgender contestant on DWTS, People.com reports. In the worst of times, Elia worried for her partner’s safety. Tearfully telling the camera, "People who make change get shot, and I don't think that's worth it. ... This is insane. It's not worth doing a show if you're going to get shot… I don't want him to die for a cause.”

After Being Chaz, a new documentary special I Am Jazz: A Family in Transition, premieres at 9 PM. The special explores the journey of one 11-year-old transgendered girl “named Jazz and her family as they make life-changing decisions about how their daughter will grow up.”
