Further solidifying their reputation as a sultry, sensual people, Brazilians celebrate the Día Internacional del Orgasmo Femenino (or International Day of Female Orgasm) every August 8. In case you didn't know — that's today!

According to theInternational Business Times, the holiday arose after a straight Councilor "decided to compensate his wife for some sexual debts that he had," and proposed "a day dedicated to stimulate sexual pleasure in its maximum expression."

Although the holiday may have been established by a straight dude, we're pretty confident you lovely ladies can queer this celebration. We're even willing to bet that for many of you, the female orgasm is not the "mysterious part of sex" that the IB Times makes it out to be.

So how are you going to celebrate this sensual holiday? Perhaps you'll steal away for some "afternoon delight" with your partner, or maybe you'll schedule some "personal time" with you and your favorite sex toy before bed tonight. Then again, maybe you'll tune in to some kinky, queer women-centric porn like that produced by out filmmaker Courtney Trouble.

Or perhaps you have an even better idea? Let us know how you plan to celebrate in the comments below.
