The news cycle may be a constant barrage of bad, depressing stories, but if there's one thing that never fails to lift our spirits, it's a perfect pop bop from Lady Gaga. 

Earlier this week, Mother Monster released the lyric video to her latest single "The Cure," (which she premiered during her headline set at Coachella last month) and true to the song's name, it really is the cure to a dreary hump day. 

Sometimes, indulging in an upbeat pop song is the best way to take your mind off of the bad things going on in the world (if only for a second).
