Lesbian Couple Arrested in Hawaii for PDA

The pair were on vacation in Honolulu when an officer harassed them for holding hands and kissing.

A police officer in Hawaii is under investigation after allegedly arresting two women for kissing in public.

Los Angeles couple Taylor Guerrero and Courtney Wilson were on vacation in March. Evidently, Officer Bobby Harrison took offense at their public display of affection at a grocery store.

The couple filed a lawsuit, saying they were holding hands as Harrison “observed their consensual romantic contact and, in a loud voice, ordered plaintiffs to stop and ‘take it somewhere else.’”

Although they initially complied, he later threatened to throw them out of the store when he saw them kiss.

The situation escalated when they went to the register. Harrison “was bumping his belly against Courtney, [saying] ‘you girls don’t know how to act. You don’t know the difference between a motel and a grocery store.’”

According to the lawsuit, Harrison then shoved Guerrero when she tried to defend Wilson. “The whole situation got physical. I got punched in the face by him.”

Harrison arrested them for assault on an officer and jailed them for three days. The charges were eventually dropped.

Harrison remains on active duty while Honolulu PD investigates.
