It used to be just “Internet famous.” Then it became “YouTube famous.” And now, it’s “Instafamous.” But just because the words change, doesn’t mean the cute, adorable, instantly likeable animals change! No matter the medium, the Internet is full of the world’s most amazing animal friends. They’re known for being cute, or funny or, yes, even grumpy.

No matter how they came into fame, these 6 instafamous animals are definitely worth the follow. After all, they have more followers than you, so that must mean they’re pretty great, right?

We know these animals have amazing owners — they’re pretty much their live-in agents! They get the best toys, collars, litter boxes, beds … oh, and high-quality food like Halo

Here’s our list of some of our favorite Instafamous animals you need to add to your feed:

1. Grumpy Cat: Her real name is Tardar Sauce, but the Internet knows her as Grumpy Cat! Not only has she stolen (and subsequently frowned upon) the hearts of millions, she has book deals, toy lines and yes, even a movie!

2. Marnie the Dog: This senior Shih Tzu was 11 when she was adopted from a shelter. Now, at 15 and fabulous, Marnie walks around the world’s most amazing cities, meets celebrities and offers nuggets of adorable doggie wisdom.

3. Lil BUB: She may make some pretty weird faces, but that’s part of her charm! Lil BUB is known for her tongue-out photo face (but, like, the cute kind, not the Miley Cyrus kind). Like Grumpy Cat, she’s never far from a celebrity photo op or an adventurous outing.

4. Princess Monster Truck: With one of the best names ever, it’s no wonder this quirky rescue kitty has reached fame and fortune. Her unique smile (cats can smile, right?) has been plastered on shirts, bags and everything in between to raise awareness for animal rescues across the country.

5. Boo the Dog: Boo has been named one of the world’s cutest dogs. And it just takes one look at him to see why! With his perfectly groomed fluff, this little guy looks more like a stuffed animal than an actual animal. But rest assured, he’s made real-life appearances on TV and continues to make INstagram an adorable place to be — plus, he has help from his pals Buddy and Blue!

6. Tuna: This guy is “the underdog with the overbite” and we love him for it! Rescued in LA, Tuna is yet another reminder that our furry friends can steal our hearts, no matter where they come from or what they look like.

7. Manny The Frenchie: Manny is easily one of the most pawpular and followed French Bulldogs on the planet. He spends his glorious days sink-napping, devouring all the bacon his tummy can hold, and just being an all-around star. Manny likes to wearing custom-made Hawaiian T-shirts and concert gear, and he even took Lollapalooza by storm backstage. The best part about Manny? He's all about giving back to his community in Chicago and beyond via his philanthropic work. Go Manny!
