While it's hard to be positive considering all that's going on in the news, there are still good people and good things out there in the world, and Rihanna channeling historic pilot Amelia Earhart during the photoshoot of her upcoming Harper's Bazaar 150th Anniversary cover is definitely one of them.
"There's something so special about a woman who dominates in a man's world. It takes a certain grace, strength, intelligence, fearlessness, and the nerve to never take no for an answer," Rihanna said in a statement on her Instagram page admiring Earhart, the first female aviator to fly a solo trip across the Atlantic Ocean. "Amelia Earhart was such a dynamic force in her industry, setting multiple aviation records in her time. So it was a no-brainer for me to team up with Harper's Bazaar in honor of a woman who held her own with the big boys."
