Shot of the Day: Hillary Clinton Gets Back to Work with Football Helmet to Protect Precious Cargo

Secretary of State Hillary Clinton got back to work today following her hospital scare over the New Year, but still, her colleagues at the State Department are not taking any chances, and they’ve equipped Madame Secretary with a football helmet to protect her precious big brain.

"As you know, Washington is a contact sport,” Deputy Secretary of State Thomas Nides told Clinton when he handed her the helmet emblazoned with the State Dept. logo, according to CNN. 

If that weren’t enough, Clinton’s colleagues also gifted her with a football jersey with her last name and the #112, the number of countries she’s visited during her tenure as Secretary of State.

Now, if they’d get it together over at the White House and bestow a helmet and jersey on the First Lady so that Michelle Obama and Hillary Clinton can kick off a badass political ladies touch football league.
