The style bible formally endorsed Hillary Clinton as their pick for President.

American Vogue just made it's first-ever endorsement for President of the United States, and their pick was none other than Democratic nominee and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.

"We understand that Clinton has not always been a perfect candidate, yet her fierce intelligence and considerable experience are reflected in policies and positions that are clear, sound, and hopeful," the official statement on the iconic fashion magazine's website read, citing her history of standing up for LGBT rights and other casues like racial justice and healthcare reform as primary reasons why she got their exceptional endorsement.

The statement continued:

"Can Clinton unify a deeply divided America? Heal the wounds of this unbearably fraught political season? Our divisions are real, and it will take more than one intensely qualified leader to heal them.

And yet two words give us hope: Madam President. Women won the vote in 1920. It has taken nearly a century to bring us to the brink of a woman leading our country for the first time. Let’s put this election behind us and become the America we want to be: optimistic, forward-looking, and modern."

While historically unprecedented, the move is not that surprising considering Anna Wintour, the magazine's world-renowned editor-in-chief, is a longtime friend of HRC and has been acting as a style consultant throughout her campaign. She's also supported fellow Democrat and fellow Hillary-supporter President Obama in his past election campaigns. It's a very important endorsement, especially considering, as Vogue puts it, "the profound stakes of this [election], and the history that stands to be made."

In honor of this momentous occasion, let's take a look (in Anna Wintour GIF-form) at how we, and other Vogue readers across the country probably reacted to the news...

When you realize Hillary got endorsed by THE single most important and influential fashion rag in the world.

And you just want to call everyone you know and tell them about it.

When you see people try to hate on Vogue for actually taking a stand and endorsing the most qualified presidential candidate.

And when you realize that yes, there are actually people who are going to be voting for Trump.

When you feel inspired to go out and vote for Hillary RIGHT. THIS. MINUTE. (Even though the election is still three weeks away...)

And when you want to remind people to go out and vote in what is going to be one of the most important elections EVER.
