WATCH: Ellen DeGeneres Tells Ellen Page, 'I'm Proud of You for Coming Out'

Yesterday Ellen DeGeneres welcomed Robin Roberts and congratulated her for coming out. Today she tells Ellen Page, “I’m proud of you for coming out.”

In return, the 27-year-old actress thanks DeGeneres for her bravery in coming out in 1997. Page says, “I was grateful to have that moment (her HRC speech) and grateful to you, because you did it in a time that was much harder and much scarier.”

Page shares that she’s become a much happier person since her choice to come out.
