Ellen DeGeneres recently had Tig Notaro on her show and kicked the conversation off by apologizing to her for not "having Tig on her radar" earlier. Evidently, however, the two had met 18 years prior when Tig bartended at a party Ellen's ex-girlfriend was throwing. Then they didn't meet again for a long time. All is right in the lesbian world now, though, because now they're friends who apparently text each other all the time (cute), and Ellen even drove by Tig's house the other day and laid on the horn for "about a minute," scaring the bejeebus out of Tig's poor cat.
Everything about their interaction is perfectly charming and wonderful.
