This young woman has the makings of the future president!

Last week we wrote about 11-year-old Marley Dias, who, when tired of reading only stories about ‘white boys with dogs,’ decided to do something about it. She created the project #1000BlackGirlBooks book drive in order for girls like her to see themselves represented in the stories they read.

At the time, Marley explained that the point of the drive is to collect and disperse books, “…where black girls are the main characters in the book and not background characters or minor characters."

Now, Marley is on Ellen DeGeneres’s show to promote the book drive. Of course Ellen can’t let Marley leave without helping her and the project out a bit.

Watch the amazing Marley with Ellen below.
