Dove's new #RealMoms commercial shows us all the different kinds of ways you can be a mother. The ad features Shea, a transgender woman, and her partner who are raising their baby boy together.
"We're both his biological parents," Shea explains. "You get people like 'What do you mean, you're the mom?' We're like 'Yep. We're both going to be moms.'"
Dove's goal with the ad was to "shatter stereotypes about motherhood and prove that there are no rules about how to be a parent today."
"There's no right way to do it all," adds Shea.
