How else will they repay their student loans for art school?

If you haven’t seen the hilarious new web series Rods and Cones yet, you can catch up with it right here. Written by and starring queer comics Beth Lisick and Tara Jepsen, Rods and Cones is kind of like Broad City (if they added an older couple of women as foils and took it on the road) as comediennes Carole and Mitzi who compete for comic domination at the Over the Shoulder Comedy Boulders Festival against the “Hot Mom” act “The Milfies.”

The series premiered on writer/producer Jill Soloway's (Transparent) feminist site Wifey earlier this month, but you can catch up here.

Watch the first three episodes below.

Ep. 1: We Need To Find Our Savings -  Carole and Mitzi jangle it down a hill and make a soft landing on a couple of disgruntled performance artists.

Ep. 2: Tootin or Fruitin'- Stranded roadside, Carole and Mitzi use an alternative form of currency to find a way to get a ride to Over the Shoulder Comedy Boulders.

Ep. 3: I'm Better Than You, Christy- Carole and Mitzi’s new shaman Lawrence holds a platonic 69 ceremony while George and Bess work up a comedy routine.
