Fast fashion retailer H&M is taking a stand for inclusivity with their newest short film that features 23-year-old professional model and proud hijabi Mariah Idrissi.

Besides being absolutely fierce, the London-based model of Pakistani and Moroccan descent is the company's first hijab-donning model to be featured in an advertisement campaign — in this case, the latest "Close the Loop" effort about recycling clothes and breaking the rules of fashion.

“It always feels like women who wear hijab are ignored when it comes to fashion,” she said in an interview with Fusion about being in H&M's newest ad, which also features diverse models of size and color. “Our style, in a way, hasn’t really mattered, so it’s amazing that a brand that is big has recognized the way we wear hijab.”

Watch Mariah star in the "Close the Loop" ad below, and let us know your thoughts on H&M striving for diversity in the comments and on Twitter!
