Chris Evans Has New Chest Tattoos & Even Super Fans Are Surprised

The smooth, bare-chested, boy-next-door we all know and love has been a tatted-up bad boy all along!

We already knew that actor Chris Evans is a super huge (and super handsome) sweetheart...but did you also know he's got a little bit of a bad boy side to him? That's what many fans of the Captain America and Knives Out star learned when 39-year-old bared his chest and revealed that he's actually got a bunch of tattoos all over his superhero-worthy torso.

In a recent post to his Instagram stories, Chris took one last shirtless dip into his pool before the autumn and winter cold starts to make it unbearable outside, and while his backflip into the pool is impressive, fans were more concerned with his chest ink. Heck, there are some Chris Evans super stans who didn't even know he had these tats!

While the video Chris posted to Insta wasn't good enough quality for fans to see what they actually look like, we're holding out hope that maybe one day he will give fans an inside look at his ink and tell us the meaning behind each of his torso tattoos. We'd like to know for, um, er, uh, science.
