These past few years have seen the rise of the "daddy" in the gay community. More and more younger gay men are using the word, and having crushes/relationships/sexual encounters with older gay men. There’s even a magazine called Daddy Issues that not only has images of beefy, hairy men, but speaks to how daddies are becoming an integral and mainstream component within queer communities.
