Melissa Ferrick is trying something new: Following 2008’s "Goodbye Youth" which relied on only her acoustic guitar, voice and intimate lyrics the singer-songwriter’s latest effort "Enough About Me," released in March, is more of a covers project.

At 56, Jennifer Figge became the first woman on record to swim across the Atlantic Ocean, swimming from Cape Verde Islands off Africa's western coast and touching dry land in Trinidad. Figge, who resides in Aspen, Colorado, left Africa on Jan. 12 with the intention of swimming to the Bahamas, but landed in Trinidad when inclement weather forced her to change direction.

Based on Rajiv Joseph's imaginative Gruesome Playground Injuries, IHTF turns the tables with a queer perspective focusing on best girl friends, Stephanie (Pacent) and Alyssa (Reeve), who grow up, move away, come out, and get together - not necessarily in that order.
