Toni Braxton's Dream Role Is to Play Lesbian on Orange Is the New Black
Earlier this year Grammy winner Toni Braxton said she’d like to take a break from music to focus full time on acting, and her dream role would be to play a lesbian, she told NBC News. Now, she’s narrowed that down to playing a lesbian on pretty much the hottest show of the year… Orange Is the New Black! And we don’t blame her.
“I’m hoping to be on Orange Is the New Black,” 46-year-old Toni told TheGrio. “That’s my favorite show. I’m hoping… we’ll see. I told you I wanted to be a lesbian… I still want that.”
Toni's notable screen creds includes the 7th season of Dancing with the Stars, We tv’s Braxton Family Values, and 2002’s Kingdom Come, co-starring with LL Cool J and Jada Pinkett-Smith.
Here’s hoping Toni gets her wish. More lesbians on Orange Is the New Black can only be good thing!
