It’s been just over four months since Good Morning America host Robin Roberts came out on Facebook, and now she’s on Ellen DeGeneres’ show chatting about coming out and her girlfriend Amber Laign.

Robin discusses how she and Amber met on a blind date nine years ago, and that Amber was her rock during her battle with myleodysplastic syndrome a few years ago. She also explains that Amber doesn’t care for the spotlight. There’s a really funny moment between Robin and Ellen over various uses for the term “coming out.”
