We're pretty sure The Wiz is not something that is intended to get us excited -- in that way -- but queen Latifah is in glittery emerald Wizard of Oz drag in the promo for the NBC's live version of The Wiz (airing Dec. 3), and it's definitely hot.

Latifah plays the actual Wiz, while Mary J. Blige takes on Evilene (the equivalent of the Wicked Witch of the West), Orange Is the New Black's Uzo Aduba plays Glinda while Glee's Amber Riley plays her sister Addaperle, and finally, newcomer Shanice Williams is Dorothy while the original Broadway Dorothy Stephanie Mills plays Auntie Em.

Now this is a televised live musical we can get behind!
