50 Greatest Lesbian and Bi Girl Movie Kisses of All Time - Ranked

50 Greatest Lesbian and Bi Girl Movie Kisses of All Time - Ranked

So many kisses, so little time.

Okay everyone, are you ready for one of the most epic rankings of girl/girl kissing throughout the history of cinema? Um, yeah, you are! With careful consideration, we’ve chosen what we believe are the 50 most groundbreaking, most intense, and sometimes just plain sexiest kisses between ladies in film. And trust us, we took a pretty extensive look into all available options. We’ve even included some moments from as early as the 1930s on here because as long as there have been movies, there have been cute girls kissing in them. We did not include made-for-TV movies, so you won't find Gia or Tipping the Velvet (sorry).

Now, we also understand that ranking girl/girl kisses can be fairly subjective, so we’ve also included an option at the end for you to vote for your personal favorite kisses as well. Let your voice be heard, and let your future movie nights be heavily influenced by what you're about to see. Enjoy!

50.

Radha Mitchell and Frances O'Connor - Love and Other Catastrophes (1996)

Terrific little Aussie indie flick from the '90s. Sexuality was incidental to the plot.

49.

Joey Lauren Adams and Carmen Llywelyn - Chasing Amy (1997)

Classic kiss, but we're not sure Kevin Smith really got us.

48.

Leighton Meester and Minka Kelly - The Roommate (2011)

In a film filled with dreadful horrors, this kiss definitely  wasn't the *worst* thing that went down.

47.

Amy Adams and Lauren German - Standing Still (2005)

It's possible we've never been more Enchanted by Adams, or German!

46.

Laura Fraser and Shelley Conn - Nina's Heavenly Delights (2006)

Before Fraser starred in Lip Service there was this charming romantic comedy about love and food.

French New Wave luminary and ardent feminist Seyrig wows as the lead in this early vampire story with Sapphic undertones.

41.

Heather Graham and Jessica Stroup - Broken (2006)

Graham's had many queer moments on film, but this one takes the cake.

40.

Here's hoping this is a sneak peak at what Ruby Rose will be doing in Orange is the New Black this season

A super-sweet, obviously sexy, romantic comedy about women falling in love despite societal pressure for one of them to marry a man.

Katie Cassidy and Tracy Spiridakos - Kill For Me (2013)

We'd kill to watch this scene over and over again.

37.

Maria Schrader and Lilly Wust - Aimee and Jaguar (1999)

A Jewish woman and the wife of a Nazi officer fall in love at the height of WWII. If that is not devastating enough, it's based on a true story.

Kristen Stewart and Dakota Fanning - The Runaways (2010)

Stewart as Joan Jett and Fanning as Cherie Currie are kind of a revelation.

35.

Who wouldn't fall for this super villain in Angela Robinson's romp of a teen spy flick?

34.

Noomi Rapace and Yasmin Garbi - The Girl Who Played with Fire (2009)

Lisbeth Salander is the most totally unapologetic, bad-ass, bisexual cyber wiz to ever grace the big screen, and we really wish there were more.

Emily Blunt and Natalie Press - My Summer of Love (2004)

The beautiful indie that gave us Emily Blunt... Need we say more?

More self-reflexive exploitation. It's so bad, it's delicious!

A romantic comedy with a happy ending that explores cultural mores -- we'll take it.

Liv Mjones and Ruth Vega Fernandez - Kiss Me (2011)

Just simply a crowd-pleaser of a romantic film.

Garbo as a pants-clad monarch who kisses her subjects like this? Yes, please.

Do you think you figured out the plot? Who Cares. This scene is superhot and the film put Watts on the map.

A contemporary, prescient tale of Iranian friends in love.

Shattering scene because you root for them to make it even though you know what the next 90 minutes of the movie are about.

Kerry Washington and Dania Ramierz - She Hate Me (2004)

Pre-Olivia Pope Washington in a Spike Lee flick is a total win.

Was it real? Was it fantasy? Did anyone really care after watching this scene?

22.

Lisa Cholodenko's first feature gave us a heartrendingly sad and beautiful love story.

Piper Perabo and Jessica Pare - Lost and Delirious (2001)

Obsessive love at a boarding school. This film captivated its generation.

No one tangos like these two in this stunning, Oscar-nominated biopic.

Peter Jackson's small masterpiece introduced us to a wildly charismatic Winslet, while Lynskey's brooding, obsessive teen was at times, truly terrifying.

The first film to be released with the NC-17 rating. We're pretty sure it wasn't for all of the straight sex...

Sweet and audacious for the time, Jamie Babbit's satire wins on all levels.
