Taylor Swift Vindicated After Full 2016 Kanye West Phone Call Leaks
Who's the snake now, Kim?
We love a petty feud, and it doesn’t get much pettier than the nightmarishly unending drama between Taylor Swift and Kanye West ft. Kim Kardashian. Ever since Kanye snatched the mic from Tay’s hands at the MTV Video Music Awards back in 2009, the divide between those two and their fandoms has run deep.
Even after they supposedly made amends, shit got stirred right back up after Kanye released a track calling Taylor a bitch and saying he made her famous. And Kim released an edited recording of a phone call between the two claiming Taylor okayed it — something Taylor said wasn’t quite the truth.
Well, four years later, Swifties have been vindicated in their support of the “Look What You Made Me Do” singer, as the full phone conversation between Kanye and Taylor finally mysteriously leaked online.
Taylor had originally claimed she only knew about some of the lyrics, something that Kim’s version of the recording neither proved nor disproved. But the new video clearly shows the conversation backs up Tay’s side of the story.
“Basically, the whole phone call leaked, revealing Taylor Swift never consented to being called “that bitch.”

She never lied or was a “snake.”

She was recorded illegally and manipulated by Kanye West and everyone owes her an apology.

https://t.co/nTZXrJo7yS”— Ryan Schocket (@Ryan Schocket) 1584772172
The conversation also features a narcissistic Kanye calling himself a genius for thinking to have Taylor endorse his song, and shows that Taylor was clearly uncomfortable even with the bit that West did tell her about, as she says she’ll have to think about whether or not she’s okay with lyrics about her owing him sex and get back to him.
This portion of the Taylor/Kanye feud originally led to scores of haters online spamming Taylor with snake emojis, accusing her of trying to play the victim when she admitted she was upset about Kanye’s track release. Turns out, Kanye and Kim were the snakes the whole time.

But, as awful as this whole situation was, it also contributed to giving us reputation, so...there's that at least? But still. Ew.
