As Élite fans are well aware actors Manu Ríos and André Lamoglia brought the queer chaos and romance to the hit Netflix series as Patrick and Iván.

Over the course of their romance, Patrick evolved from a self-centered bad boy to an emotionally available sweetie after falling for Iván. In other words, it’s our favorite kind of love story.

Because it’s set in the world of Élite, they didn’t always have the smoothest of sailing; both of them weren’t always the most faithful. In the end, however, the show’s faithful couldn’t help but see the two as endgame. Now with Ríos having left the show and Lamoglia set to return in season seven, fans are likely going to get their answer.

While they aren’t getting to see the rest of the romance play out on screen, fans are getting the next best thing, as the two recently reconnected in real life for an adorable dinner date.

The Ríos fan account Keeping Up With Manu Ríos shared photos of the two cozying up in a booth at a restaurant in Madrid. In the photo, Ríos is snapping a picture of a mostly eaten, shared chocolate dessert.

Cute!

While they two unquestionably had chemistry on screen, the actors are reportedly just friends. Oh well. We’ll always have those spicy love scenes to remember.

Lamoglia is set to return to the halls of Las Encinas when the show returns for season seven on October 20 and Ríos’ star also continues to rise. Next up for him is Pedro Almodovar’s highly anticipated queer romance Strange Way of Life, alongside daddy dreamboats Pedro Pascal and Ethan Hawke. Also, he’s returning to Netflix in the medical drama Respira.

Together. Apart. We’ll take these two any way we can get them.
