Rumor has it that Lukas Gage and Chris Appleton are secretly engaged!

Less than a month after confirming their romance, it seems that the happy couple is already, quietly, taking the next step in their relationship. According to people close to the duo, they are engaged but keeping it under wraps for the time being.

“They’re not telling the public yet, but they have told friends they are engaged,” a source told Us Weekly. “They got engaged before they even had rings and then went to pick them out together.”

Their friends are reportedly delighted about the news and are cheering on Gage and Appleton. “Friends think they are a great couple,” the insider added. “Even though they moved very quickly, everyone around them is very excited about their relationship.”

The speculation that the two were dating began in May when Gage posted photos of the two of them on a romantic vacation together. Appleton would later confirm that they were official while appearing on The Drew Barrymore Show.

“Listen, I’m very happy [and] very much in love,” said Appleton in March. “I feel very grateful to be able to share my time with someone very special. Love is a really special thing and, I think, meeting someone that you connect with is very special.”

Gage also opened up about their relationship during an interview with Today, saying he was very happy, locking and in love. “He’s a good-looking man,” gushed Gage.

While the couple has neither confirmed nor denied the rumor that they are headed down the aisle, we’re certainly rooting for their happily ever after.
