Ryan Gosling Featured As A Singer On The 'Barbie' Movie Soundtrack

Barbie
Warner Bros. Pictures

The actor, who plays Ken in the upcoming Barbie movie, is featured on the soundtrack alongside Lizzo, Nick Minaj, Dua Lipa, and more!

Barbie’s everything. He’s just Ken. But it looks like Ken can now also sing!

The artist lineup for the soundtrack to the upcomingBarbiemovie was released today. Ryan Gosling, who stars as Barbie’s boyfriend/accessory Ken in the Greta Gerwig-directed movie, made the cut.

We have no idea what his track will sound like, but Gosling is no stranger to music. After all, he sang, danced, and played the piano in La La Land and performed in the Mickey Mouse Club alongside Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake when he was a kid.

Barbie: The Album features a star-studded line up that includes Dua Lipa, Lizzo, Nicki Minaj, Charlie XCX, Khalid, Tame Impala, The Kid Laroi, Ava Max, Dominic Fike, Gayle, HAIM, Ice Spice, Karol G and, of course, Ryan Gosling.

This is more than enough to get excited about, but even more artists will be announced as we move closer to the album’s release date.

The soundtrack for the Margot Robbie-led film will be released on July 21. But if you can’t wait, don’t worry: Dua Lipa — who is set to play a mermaid in the film! — announced on Monday that she’s dropping her brand new single “Dance the Night” from the Barbie soundtrack on May 26 at 4 p.m. PT/7 p.m. ET.

Barbie and Barbie: The Album will both be released on July 21.
