NBC’s hit fashion competition series Fashion Star has named out designer Kara Laricks as the next big brand in fashion! As the winner of Fashion Star Season 1, three of the country’s largest retailers – Saks Fifth Avenue, Macy’s and H&M – purchased $6 million of capsule collection designs from Kara.

NBC’s new reality competition series Fashion Star will search for the next big brand in fashion. Executive producer and host of the show Elle Macpherson joins celebrity mentors Jessica Simpson, Nicole Richie and John Varvatos for the series that will give 14 unknown designers a chance to win a multi-million dollar prize to launch their collections in three of America’s largest retailers: Macy’s, H&M and Saks Fifth Avenue. Among the line-up of designers is out lesbian Kara Laricks. She designs androgynous clothing for men and women, “inspired by her love of menswear and an avant-garde Japanese design aesthetic.

I am going to rant and rave about fashion in this blog, so I'm going to say this now: I'm sorry if I offend anyone who's reading and wears any of the things I'm about to mention. I don't have any affiliation to the fashion world at all. I'm just a lesbian with a big mouth.

One of the reasons Project Runway is so much fun is because it's just so damned unpredictable. I do have to give a shout out to Heidi Klum for her admitted obsession with breasts. Her inability to stop over-analyzing what's happening with the model's breasts may stem from her time as a Victoria's Secret model and not out of a hidden lesbian fetish, but I just thought it was terrifically amusing to count how many times she said "breasts" during last night's episode.
