Celebrating the historic anniversary of Club Skirts The Dinah, the largest lesbian event in the world, founder Mariah Hanson is adding two mega stars to an already colossal entertainment line-up: Kathy Najimy and Mo Gaffney, and "L Word" actress Sarah Shahi aka "sexy Carmen." This year's colossal Dinah Bill also includes KE$HA, female rap duo Salt-N-Pepa appearing with DJ Spinderella and "Family Ties" star Meredith Baxter.

Emmy Award-winning actress Jane Lynch (Glee, The L Word, Best in Show) will be presented with the L.A. Gay & Lesbian Center’s Rand Schrader Distinguished Achievement Award on November 13, 2010 at the Hyatt Regency Century Plaza Hotel. Matthew Morrison (Lynch’s Glee co-star and Broadway veteran) will present her with the award.

Raid of the Rainbow Lounge: The Documentary, a film about the aftermath of the gay bar raid in Fort Worth, Texas, is narrated by Meredith Baxter and written and directed by Robert L. Camina. There is still about $2,000 in final costs for the film that need to be covered. The film’s Kickstarter campaign ends January 31, 2011. Several incentives are being offered for various levels of donations.

Having never traveled outside the U.S. until three years ago or listened to much outside of the American Top 40, I was unaware of her music until just this past summer. I was asked to compare (a "posh" word for emcee) at L-Fest, one of the UK's largest Lesbian Camping Music Arts Comedy Festival and I found myself blown away by the soaring vocals and stellar presence of the festival’s headliner Horse.
