Sheetal Sheth, the star of beloved lesbian-themed movies I Can’t Think Straight and The World Unseen has lent her voice – and image – to a PSA put together by members of the South Asian community to re-elect President Obama. In the PSA Sheth asserts that the President is the “clear choice” for women as opposed to his competitor Mitt Romney.
This isn’t exactly new news but it is new to us, and since the show is just about a month out we thought we’d give a heads up that Lisa Ray, who starred with Sheetal Sheth in back-to-back lesbian-themed films I Can’t Think Straight and The World Unseen, has been tapped to host Top Chef Canada Season 2, according to News Wire Canada.
Here’s a a special treat for all of you fans of the lesbian themed movies I Can’t Think Straight, The World Unseen and Saving Face! The show, which is being described as a Bridesmaids meets Arrested Development stars Sheetal Sheth (I Can’t Think Straight) and Michelle Krusiec and Lynn Chen, both of Saving Face fame. Who knows what kind of trouble these ladies will be getting into, but based on the minute long spot, we’re already looking forward to the ride.
