Saturday Night Live is never better lately than when out cast member Kate McKinnon is on the screen. This week she took to Weekend Update as Olya Povlatsky, a Russian peasant woman devastated to have survived Friday’s massive meteor that crashed in the Ural mountain region.

Shahi claimed the famous socialite nearly hit her while driving in Los Angeles on April 22. Hilton's reputation as a driver has never been exemplary, and now former The L Word star Shahi has called her out. Shahi directed five very angry Tweets at Hilton, calling her the "worst driver ever," a "horrible excuse for a human being," and "dumb bitch."

Kate McKinnon joined the cast of 'Saturday Night Live' this season as the show's first-ever out lesbian castmember, and we've had our eye on her ever since.
“Of course I’m gay, Colin. I invented being gay,” Bowan Yang as George Santos said. “I was the one at Stonewall who said, ‘Here’s an idea you guys should kiss.’”
Since we saw Kate McKinnon perform her stand-up on a lesbian cruise years ago it was clear she was destined to become the next big thing in comedy. But this weekend, McKinnon, who joined SNL late last season, really got to shine portraying Ellen DeGeneres and Jodie Foster as “Lesser Known Bond Girls” in one sketch and the Spanish woman who lovingly defaced a portrait of Jesus in another.
We've been saying for months that Saturday Night Live is tragically under-using its best comic, (who also happens to be the show's first out cast member), Kate McKinnon.
