WTF is going on in here on this day??

Here's a news story we didn't think we'd be reading anytime soon: Ariana Grande and Piers Morgan hung out together. (Yes, you read that right. And no, we're not making it up.)

Apparently the pop star and the TV personality, who have very publicly feuded with each other on Twitter in the past, ran into each other at the same restaurant in Los Angeles last night. And then they hung out. And then they took a selfie together.

"Turns out we really like each other," Piers wrote in a tweet about he and Ari's dinner. "Weird."

"Thank you for some laughs and some very productive conversation," the "7 Rings" singer responded. "It was nice bumping into you!"

If you're confused by all of this, you aren't alone here.

Some internet users commented that Ari and Piers being able to spend time together and have a civil discussion with each other is a good thing...

...while others weren't amused with the LGBT ally spending any amount of time with a talking head who has repeatedly used his platform to shout bigoted things.

*sigh*

I wonder what they had for dinner...
