Lil Nas X is getting a laugh after pleading with people to stop doing poppers at his concerts.
The rapper made the request via Twitter on Wednesday, getting blunt with fans as he told them, “u do not need ur asshole relaxed to see me perform industry baby!”
It wasn’t immediately clear if Lil Nas asked fans to knock it off with the poppers because he had actual knowledge of people using them at his shows or if he was just messing around in typical Lil Nas fashion.
But his followers quickly made it clear that they plan to do no such thing.
It was also just earlier this month that Lil Nas joked that it would take a big orgy happening in the crowd at one of his shows for him to truly be proud of himself, something zealous fans were quick to remind him of in light of his tweet.
The “Montero” singer has been having a blast on his first tour, not only inviting orgies and furries to dominate the crowd, but previously making headlines for hitting back at homophobic protestors outside his show by graciously offering them pizza while they tried to spread their message of condemnation among his fans.
They didn’t bite, but maybe someone in the crowd should have just offered them poppers instead.
