Nothing keeps a good queen down.

Manila Luzon is one of the most revered queens to compete on RuPaul's Drag Race and she's still making a huge impact today.

Just in the last year, the star has hosted her own competition show Drag Den and signed as an artist with Warner Music Philippines.

"You know I'm working on some new music. I'm so excited to be releasing my new song 'Colors' on March 24. Download. Pre-save. Listen to it! If you haven't seen my show Drag Den on Prime Video... honey, you need to watch that. I may not be on RuPaul's Drag Race anymore because I've been on a few times, but it hasn't stopped me from going out and creating my own competition show and bringing a whole new spotlight to a whole new batch of drag queens in the Philippines. I'm so proud to be Filipino-American and let people see the talented queens in the Philippines," Luzon tells PRIDE.

Luzon is not only showcasing incredible queens in the Philippines, but she's also using her voice to fight against anti-LGBTQ+ legislation that's sweeping the United States. She recently signed on as one of the participating queens in the upcoming telethon, Drag Isn’t Dangerous, which will feature several RuPaul’s Drag Race winners and fan-favorite queens.

"It's so scary to think that there are so many people out there trying to put us away and erase us from the world. Just keep putting yourself out there because honestly, that's how we're going to change people. Putting a face to our community and letting people get to know us as more than just fabulous drag queens, but as people. Don't be afraid honey! Get yourself out there and look fabulous while doing it," Luzon says.

The queen also attended the Elton John AIDS Foundation Academy Awards Viewing Party, which is a celebrated fundraiser that helps raise money to cure AIDS around the globe.

"It's just an honor to come out here and celebrate the LGBTQ community. Elton John's AIDS Foundation is one of the biggest in the world and it's also one of the most glamorous in the world."

As Luzon continues to use her voice for change, the star is also keeping up with the current season of RuPaul's Drag Race and she's rooting for two particular queens.

"I am a big of Anetra because she, like me, is part Filipina. But, I'm also such a huge fan and always have been a fan of Sasha Colby. Team Sasha Colby... you got this girl!"
