The Academy Awards are on Sunday...
Which means it's time to start filling out ballots, placing bets, and mourning more than ever the fact that Carol wasn't nominated for Best Picture. But even though Sunday will be tinged with Carol-related sadness, that doesn't mean we can't continue to celebrate it on our own time, if not the Academy's. And so we devised 10 Academy Awards that we wish Carol would win on Sunday, and whether or not these dreams actually come to fruition (or if the categories are even remotely real), Carol will always be the best the winner of our hearts.
