Snubbed for Best Picture — An Oscar nom seemed almost in the bag after Loving’s thunderous debut at Cannes Film Festival last year. Sadly, the re-telling of the story of Richard and Mildred Loving and the Supreme Court case that prohibited laws banning interracial marriage was not nominated for the Best Picture award.
