The real question fans are asking: will "Youngeldore" be open about his sexuality in the upcoming Fantastic Beasts films?

Jude Law has been cast to play a young Albus Dumbledore in the upcoming sequel to last year's Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, and fans seem to have but one question on their minds: Is "Youngledore" a proud friend of Dorothy, or merely an acquaintance?

“I would like to say because this is obviously a five-part story, there’s lots to unpack in that relationship,” J.K. Rowling  replied at a press conference Thursday afternoon when asked if Dumbledore would be open about his sexuality in the film. “You will see Dumbledore as a younger man and quite a troubled man. We’ll see him at that formative period of his life.”

“As far as his sexuality is concerned,” she said, evidently pausing for a moment, “watch this space.” Which, to us less cryptic creatures, essentially means Rowling is building hype for something, something for which we'll have to wait like patient children lined up four blocks outside our local bookstores with fold-out chairs and cocoa.

Ah, the good-old, teeth-grinding, patient days.
