Oscar-nominated Call Me by Your Name actor Timothée Chalamet is back on the big screen following a thrilling awards season. The anticipated follow up to his CMBYN performance will take place in a film called Hot Summer Nights, written and directed by Elijah Bynum.
The coming-of-age story features Chalamet in the forefront of action, playing an introverted youth in Cape Cod who gets tangled up with local weed dealer (Alex Roe). The fast-paced, teen thriller also stars Maika Monroe (It Follows), William Fichtner, Thomas Jane, Emory Cohen, and Maia Mitchell.
The film will be available exclusively on DIRECTV June 28, with A24 releasing the film to theaters July 27.
