A truly blessed image!

The highly-anticipated, Jon Favreau-directed, 2019 remake of Disney's animated classic The Lion King is set to hit theaters in just a few weeks, and while '90s kids everywhere are patiently waiting to see one of our childhood favorites come to life in a new way on the big screen, in the mean time, they gay gods have blessed us with something to hold us over: this incomprehensibly gorgeous AF picture of Beyoncé and Nala.

The truly blessed image is part of a series of stills that Disney released earlier today showcasing each of the actors in the movie's absolutely stacked cast alongside the characters they play.

Donald Glover can be seen with Simba, Billy Eichner, Seth Rogen, and John Oliver are pictured with Timon, Pumbaa, and Zazu, Chiwetel Ejiofor is paired with scar, and Alfre Woodard is pictured with her character Sarabi.

They may just seem like simple pics, but to the Disney stans and Bey Hive members who have been waiting for the new The Lion King since it was first announced nearly three years ago, it's one step closer to what is sure to be one of the best movies of the year!

The Lion King hits theaters on July 19. Watch the official trailer in the video below!
